You don't have to keep feeling this way.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or you’re a parent worried about your child or teen, we'll help match you with a therapist who understands what you're going through.

Because we are a group practice, we have therapists who work with both adults, children and teens; who provide regular therapy and EMDR. But that’s a lot to decide on. First decide where you fit below and then we’ll help you with finding the right therapist for you. Let’s take this one step at a time.

  • I’m an Adult looking for therapy.

  • I think EMDR might help me feel better.

Our approach- We value you and your time.

At Sound Health and Wellness Center, our mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals by providing comprehensive, trauma-informed care. Our programs focus on the prevention, education, and treatment of mental health issues through evidence-based behavioral health services for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and other life stressors for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our focus is on empowering individuals to heal, recover, and thrive, addressing the unique needs of those impacted by trauma and mood problems with personalized, compassionate support.

What to expect-

When you call we will take you through the process, ask you some key questions and find out what your insurance is, your availability, whether you want in-person or telehealth, what kind of therapist you are looking for. In general, we will set you up with an initial intake session within 1-2 weeks. We ask that you complete all paperwork before your first session. After your first session where you meet your therapist, you will do all the scheduling with your therapist. You will be billed after each session for your copay or expected payment. This amount will be reviewed with you before your first session.

  • “I had basically shut down, stopped interacting with friends pushed them away along with my hobbies. I couldn’t shake all the bad things that had happened to me in my life. After EMDR Therapy … I’m better than new! Friends have said to me, “Welcome back”, I told them, I’m not back because I’m in a peaceful place that I’ve never been to in my life.”

    — CHARLES, CONNECTICUT

  • When I'm with my therapist I feel she really gets me. She is so accepting and makes me feel so good about myself.

    — TEENAGER, CONNECTICUT

  • Austin's compassionate attitude helps me to open up and really work on my problems that I've been carrying around for years! I feel so hopeful now.
